Our Wedding

Jersey City Irish Festival September 27, 2015 As the band played 'Wagon Wheel' this man came dancing over to me and introduced himself as Chris then said everyone calls me Floppy. Instantly I was like this is my kind of guy. We talked for a few then went our separate ways. 6 months later I run into him again at the Bayonne St. Patrick's Day Parade in front of Hendrickson's on Sunday, March 20, 2016. We actually had on matching hats (check-out our first pic), this is where our first picture was take by my mom, Chris said to my mom I'm going to be your son-in-law one day. Here I'm thinking he's finally going to ask me out but nope not yet. 7 months later on Saturday, October 21, 2017 I walk into the Knights of Columbus I see Chris sitting at a table w/his friends, I wave hi continuing about my business. A few minutes later Chris buys me a Guinness, that's when I knew ‘Got Him’. We talked, laughed, joked and made plans. We went out the next day to watch football and had a great time. Finally on Saturday, November 2, 2017 he took me out for our 'First Date'. We've been together ever since. Bonus Part of Our Story: The days between 10/22 - 11/2 Chris worked over-night which didn't give us much time to get to know each other. He decided to do the sweetest thing, every morning at 7:10am he would meet me at the light rail station in Liberty State Park. He would take the train with me to Hoboken then walk me from the Light Rail to the Path Station the entire time he would carry my bag and gave me his arm for me to hold. Once at the Path he would kiss my cheek then send me off to work. It was the kindest jester to show me how much of a gentleman he really is.

How We Met

St. Patrick's Day March 17, 2024 BEST PROPOSAL EVER! As you all know we LOVE St. Patrick's Season especially the Bayonne St. Patricks' Day Parade. We prep and prepare for this day from outfits, to accessories, the tailgating, the coolers, there's just so much prep that goes into it. Little did I know as I'm prepping for a fun filled day with family and friends Chris was preparing to change my life forever. About a week prior to St. Paddy's Day Chris went to my father to ask for my hand in marriage. Of course my father was so happy since he loves Chris. The day of the parade we get to Hendrickson's like we always do, everything was going great, everyone starts showing up, we are all outside getting ready for festivities when Chris decided that he wanted to do a Group Toast - with the help of our nearest &amp; dearest our crowd gathered, Chris gave a great toast and we did the shot. As I did my shot Chris dropped to his knee and asked me to marry him. OMG and Scream is all I could say, I was so happy, excited, shocked, overwhelmed and grateful that this beautiful person loves me so much. I said 'Yes'! I Love Our Story
